Formalization begins with a simple belief: people and communities should be able to participate with recognition and dignity. Identity, clear records, local knowledge and trusted partners all have a role in making that participation possible.

Communities often navigate disconnected requirements, limited access to services and fragmented records. The right approach starts by understanding their priorities and the institutions already working alongside them.

FormalizationOS is being developed to connect those foundations.

The approach brings civic digital infrastructure, compliance support and consortium formation into one connected journey. TradePass, GeoTag and GCI are designed to support identity, place and evidence; local partners contribute the knowledge and services needed for each community and jurisdiction. Progress is shaped with participants, not assumed in advance.
