Participation terms

1. About this website, our community profiles and these participation terms
FormalizationOS is a GTCX platform for community participation. These terms describe the website and profile relationship. A profile introduces your interests, while formal admission, verified standing and services require separate review and agreement. For questions about personal information, contact privacy@gtcx.trade.
This website explains tools, support and ways to take part in formal activity. Learn where to start, see which roles fit your work and prepare questions for the people involved. Rules differ by place, activity and programme. The pages cannot replace qualified local advice or decisions by public authorities. A description of a tool or service does not mean it is ready, that you qualify or that it will deliver a particular result.
2. Profiles, representation and formal participation
A community profile describes your role, country and interests. Email verification protects account access. It does not establish legal identity, organizational authority, accreditation, statutory permission or admission to a programme.
Share only details you know are accurate and have permission to provide. You may add an organization and interests, but keep identity papers, financial information and private records out of general profile fields. If you speak for a group, understand what you can decide and what needs member approval. A profile does not form an entity or commit a group to a consortium. Later steps must explain the checks, people and agreements involved before you share records or agree to take part.
3. Understanding services, partner roles and public responsibilities
Civic digital infrastructure connects identity, place and relevant evidence. Compliance support helps participants understand requirements and coordinate qualified services. Consortium formation helps groups clarify purpose, representation and governance. Their availability and scope depend on the programme and participating partners. Partners remain responsible for agreed work, while public institutions retain statutory duties and authority over the decisions assigned to them.
Collective bodies, trading groups, operations and service providers have distinct responsibilities and review pathways. Public institutions and development partners collaborate through arrangements and retain their mandates and responsibilities.
4. Using information responsibly, managing profiles and reviewing steps
Use the site respectfully and avoid sharing information that infringes another person’s rights. Do not claim to represent a community or organization without authority. Keep your account details accurate and protect access to your email. You can return to review your profile, update information or request account deletion through the available controls. Before joining a programme, confirm the process and the people responsible for it. Where documents, decisions, fees or services are involved, review the specific requirements and applicable agreements before taking further action or making any commitments locally.
These terms cover the website and community profiles. Separate programme and service agreements govern formal participation after the relevant review. Requirements will be explained before you make commitments. The platform may change as it develops. Updates appear here; information about your account, data and choices is in the privacy notice.
For questions about handling your information, contact the privacy address at privacy@gtcx.trade. Refer to the privacy notice for information about data and rights.
